How Does LipoSculpt™ Work? Most of us desire to lose fat in specific areas there are body areas that can be resistant to exercise and diet. In women, these areas are the abdomen, hips, thighs and bra area.
In men, the abdomen and love handles is usually of concern. These common treatment areas as well as the “turkey gobble” area under the chin, the jaw line and jowls can also be targeted for spot reduction with Lipodissolve and or LipoSculpt™
To better help you understand this process works lets first start with a little A&P on how our bodies break down fat?
What keeps fat locked in? Carbohydrates, fat, alcohol, hormones and cortisol stimulate the receptor that traps fat in the cells. Exercise and substances that are used in Mesotherapy and Lipodissolve cocktails stimulate fat breakdown.
Fat cells have receptors that when stimulated will either open or close the door to fat, Including exercise along with Lecithin stored in your liver. As well, the natural substances used in Mesotherapy and Lipodissolve will stimulate fat breakdown
What is happening during LipoSculpt ™ ? The subcutaneous fat is mechanically disrupted with a small custom designed cannula or cannula’s. After the fat cells have been mechanically disrupted, the fat burning nutrients used in Lipodissolve is directly delivered into the fatty areas.
Fat loss occurs by two routes: Mechanical disruptions of fat cells and stimulation of fat breakdown by the fat burners that are injected. A remodeling of the fat such that the risks of uneven areas or asymmetry that can be seen with liposuction are very unlikely to occur.
Do I need an OR? No, This procedure is performed while you’re patient is awake and is done with local anesthesia. LipoSculpt ™ can be performed in any treatment room that you would use for Lipodissolve.
Post Care: A compression garment is worn for 2-3 weeks. No vigorous exercise for 1 week. Most patients state they feel sore like after going to the gym for approximately. 2 –3 days.
How many treatments? The typical series of treatments is 2 to 3 treatments depending on you’re patients needs and personal goals. The treatments are spaced 4 weeks apart.
When will you’re patients begin to see results? On average it takes about 2 weeks to begin to see a change.
Special note: There are additional modalities such as the Carbossi, LED, Ultra Sound that will help give you’re patients a faster result as well as help with skin tightening.
